During stop and search operation by the Delta state police command, a suspect, Davison Edehede aged 34, has been arrested for the possession of one AK47 riffle with breach No. 7165 with nine rounds of 7.62mm live ammunition was discovered. This was disclosed in a statement by the command public relations officer, DSP Bright Edafe, stating that the operatives had arrested the suspect, who hails from Warri, after flagging down for search a white colour Nissan Maxima with registration No JJJ 494 ES. In another development, the command raider operatives had arrested a suspected cultist who has been trailing one man (name withheld). The suspect identified as Ifeanyi Ajudia was arrested at Ibusa, afterwhich a search was conducted at his residence where one locally fabricated berretta pistol without magazine was recovered.
