Niger state government has confirmed the kidnap of Commissioner for information, Mohammed Sani Idris.
This was disclosed by chief press secretary to the governor, Mary Noel-Berje, revealing that the commissioner was kidnapped by bandits at about one o'clock, on Monday August 9, 2021.
Idris was kidnapped at his residence at Baban Tunga village in Tafa local government area, Niger state.
Noel-Berje noted that security agencies are already on the trail of the bandits.
