Wife of the Lagos state governor, Dr. Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu has unveiled the new practice building and cardiac diagnostic centre of HICI healthcare limited, Lekki. She stated that the development is a progressive development as a progressive leap in a bid to ramp up healthcare delivery in the state, saying, Even as the world is grappling with COVID-19 pandemic, with threats of Delta variant of the infectious disease, we must also not lose sight of the silent epidemic of Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) including Cardiovascular Diseases, Cancers, Chronic Respiratory Diseases, Diabetes, and Mental Health Disorders, among others. t has been established by medical experts that NCDs remain the world’s biggest killers. We must all pay closer attention to our health and this is why today’s launch of Cardiac Diagnostic Centre is certainly a cheering news and development that should be and must be applauded.
