Governor of Kwara state, H. E. Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq has commisserated with the family of late politician, Alhaji Atanda Zoro.
This was revealed in statement disclosed by chief press secretary to the governor, Rafiu Ajakaye, stating that Zoro had passed on, on Saturday August 28, 2021.
The governor in the statement said,
“Alhaji Atanda Zoro was a statesman and a community leader who was very passionate about the growth of our community. He was a vivacious old man who loved to make peace with everyone, no matter their differences.
“I pray the Almighty Allah to repose the soul of the astute politician in al-jannah Firdaus and comfort all those who mourn him.”
