Kaduna state Deputy Governor Hadiza Balarabe has condemned the attack, which left five people dead in Kaura LGA, describing the attack as shocking and inhuman. This was disclosed in a statement signed by state Commissioner, ministry of internal security and home affairs. Samuel Aruwan, revealing that troops of operation safe haven had reported the attack, which occurred at Madamai village in Kagoro chiefdom, Kaura LGA, to the state government, adding that the attackers are yet to be identified. The statement revealed that five persons, identified as Janet Yakubu, Gambo Yakubu, Jonathan Adamu, Mrs Monday and Humphrey Barnabas, were killed, while nine houses and three vehicles were burnt. While praying for the repose of the victims' souls, Deputy Governor Balarabe called for calm, and directed security agencies to conduct thorough investigations into the incident.
