Lagos state Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has accepted to be patron of the Nigerian Institute of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV), promising to be a worthy ambassador of the body by working harder to raise the bar of governance in the state. He said that his administration is committed towards creating an environment that is enduring, sustainable, resilient as well as provide opportunities for the private sector to continue to do well with support from the government. The governor stated that the state is working to modernize transportation infrastructure with rail lines that will making movement better for Lagosians, adding that they are convinced that the blue line and red line infrastructure will complement to the two other modes of transportation in the state. He said that the state vision the three modes of transportation (railway, water and land) coming together as am integrated urban mass transportation solution that will make Lagos a very resilient, efficient and sustainable city. Governor Sanwo-Olu appreciated the honour of being made a patron, adding that he will live up to the expectations and standards.
