Governor of Bauchi state, H. E. Bala Mohammed has paid visit to the collapsed Bauchi-Ningi-Kano highway bridge. The governor, in his visit, sympathised with the community over the loss of lives as a result of the incident. Govenor Mohammed stated that though the collapsed road is a federal road and the responsibility of the federal government to fix, he directed for immediate reconstruction of the bridge within one week. He added that the state government will work with the contractors to ensure the bridge is fixed. See photos below:
