Ghana police service has disclosed that a police constable (name withheld) has been found dead at her residence at her residence at Damongo in the Savannah region on 2nd August, 2021. This was disclosed in a statement by Director of Public affairs, Superintendent of police, Sheilla Kessie Abayie-Buckman, stating that she was found in a pool of blood with wounds believed to be knife stabs. The body has been deposited at West Gonja District hospital. The Service noted that her boyfriend is highly suspected and is on manhunt for him. Also, the police administration has started processes to inform the family of the deceased and assures that it will update the public on the matter.
