FFK condemns killing of Major Christopher Datong, calls FG to take more drastic measures against terrorism

Femi Fani-Kayode has revealed that the officer that was abducted by terrorists at the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) yesterday, Major Christopher Datong, has been killed by his abductors.

He, who disclosed this on his social media page, describe it as unacceptable and indefensible, adding that a total of three military officers from the NDA has been killed by terrorists in the last 24 hours.

FFK called on the federal government to take more drastic measures against the terrorists and ensure that they are hunted, crushed and eliminated.

Giving reason to this, He stated that any person or group seeking to destabilise Nigeria through violence, shedding of blood and taking of life of any of our compatriots for any reason whatsoever is not worthy of life.

Kayode called for an all out military offensive against the terrorists and their foreign backers and sponsors, even if it means chasing them in hot pursuit into countries like Niger Republic, Mali, Burkina Faso and Chad.

According to him, As long as we shy away from taking this strong military option and shy away from entering those countries that the terrorists use as a spring board to attack our people and country we cannot win this war. Those that set Afghanistan, Libya, Iraq, Syria Lebanon and other North African and Middle Eastern countries alight with war and fratricidal butchery have set their evil eye on Nigeria and are attempting to do the same here by provoking us into a civil war. They shall fail.

While stating that time has come for Nigeria to hold its borders sacred, seal them up, take the battle to the gates and territory of the enemy,FFK added that Nigerians needs to see one another as brothers,  regardless of tribe or faith, come together as one, unite and face the common enemy.
