Borno, NIPC partner to attract investment opportunities to the state

Borno state Governor Umaru Zulum has partnered with the Nigerian Investment Promotion Council (NIPC) in order to attract investment opportunities to the state. 

The governor in a visit to their headquarters in Abuja, explained that the state is at a very high investment competitive index which provide market for products easily, since its location borders three countries. 

He noted that his administration has invested heavily on vocational skills training in different trades which has produced enough manpower that investors can be employ. 

Also, Governor Zulum has announced plans to establish a sustainable investment promotion agency in the state, stating that the agency will have a mandate of achieving his administration's drive to restore state's investment potentials in different sectors, especially in agriculture and mining. 

Executive secretary of NIPC, Yewande Sadiku assured the governor that the council is committed to support Borno state. 

She added that the council will support the state to set up the sustainable investment promotion agency by providing the necessary guide in the establishment of all the layers needed.
