Boko Haram terrorists defeated in failed ambush attack

Nigeria troops has defeated several Boko Haram terrorists who laid ambush at Ali Gambari village, Borno state. 

Giving report of the incident, the Military disclosed that troops of Sector 3 of Operation Hadin Kai on routine patrol with elements of 19 Brigade Garrison to Gajiram on August 22, 2021, had put down the terrorists. 

Items recovered from the terrorists include: 3 x AK47 rifles, 10 x 7.62mm special rounds of ammunition,1 x 36 Hand Grenade, 1xMagazine carrier, assorted drugs and other personal items.

Chief of Army Staff, Lt Gen Faruk Yahaya commended the troops for their effort.
