We cannot keep calm as today, August 27, 2021, marks the 30th year anniversary of the creation of our beloved state, Adamawa, from the old Gongola state, but with the capital still in Yola.

We rejoice with all the people of the people of this great state aptly christened "The Land of Beauty".

While we heartily felicitate with, and thank our dear Governor Umaru Finitri for firmly and steadily steering the ship, we cannot forget the gallant contributions of his predecessors, and we thank them too.

We may not be where we want to be, but we will get there, insha Allah, once we remain united and every citizen keeps contributing their best.

But, today is for rejoicing, so let's roll out and beat the drums, bring out and blow the kakaki and make some joyful noise.
