Following the crisis in Afghanistan, the United Kingdom has successfully evacuated 7,109 people under Operation PITTING, which commenced on Friday, August 13, 2021. The evacuation includes more than 4,200 Afghans as well as their families. Also, more than 1,000 UK Armed Forces personnel have been deployed in Kabul.
