15 kidnapped travellers has been rescued by the Nigerian Troops in Jagindi, Jema'a local government area, Kaduna state. Commissioner, Ministry of Internal Security and Home Affairs, Kaduna State, Samuel Aruwan disclosed this in a statement, revealing that the 15 persons had been reportedly kidnapped from two vehicles in the area while in transit. Responding to a distress call, the troops arrived at the location and repelled the bandits, enabling the rescue of the abducted persons. The rescued persons are: Maisaje Pam, Samuel Peter, Ziyau Abdul, Henry Dado, Abduljabar Auwal, Muhammad Ali, Dama Dabo, Ramatu Aminu, Muhammad Sani, Abdullahi Muhammad, Bashar Garba, Abubakar Musa, Saad Yakubu, Maryam Ibrahim and Lami Bitrus. Acting Governor Dr Hadiza Balarabe commended the troops for their swift response.
