Yoruba Nation: FFK condemns arrest of Sunday Igboho's wife

Following the arrests of agitation leader of Yoruba Nation, Sunday Igboho and his wife, Politician Femi Fani-Kayode has condemned the arrest of his wife, Mama Ayomide, describing it as the height of wickedness.

He stated that the woman is meant to be protected and not targeted, and it is only barbarians, terrorists, cowards, degenerates, reprobates, evil men and devil worshippers would do such.

FFK said,

Mrs. Igboho has not been accused of anything and she has not broken any laws. Her "crime", in the eyes of her tormentors, is simply being the wife of Sunday.

In the name of God, leave her alone! Anything less would be cruel and barbaric. I make this appeal to the authorities in both Cotonu and Nigeria.

He added that women and children of those that perceived to be political adversaries should never be targeted for death, destruction, incarceration, torture, persecution or humiliation.

Sunday Igboho and his wife were arrested in Cotonou as they were about to board a plane to Germany.
