Kaduna government signs mutual accountability framework with FCDO of UK and UN office on drugs and crimes

 

Governor of Kaduna state, H. E. Nasir El-rufai has stated that the state has signed a mutual accountability framework with the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) of the United Kingdom and the United Nations office on drugs and crimes. 


He expressed happiness that their development partners continue to support the governance agenda, adding that it would enable the state expand access to education, health and social protection. 


According to the governor, We have been able to count on the support of the FCDO as donor and partner throughout our years in office. The mutual accountability framework aims to improve coordination between the Kaduna State and the FCDO. It will support the delivery of the Kaduna State Development Plan 2021 – 2025 and form the basis for the Strategic Dialogue between the Government of Kaduna State and the FCDO.


Governor El-rufai thanked Dr. Chris Pycroft and his FCDO delegation for their constructive approach to strengthen the partnership with the state.
