In celebration of sallah, President Muhammadu Buhari has hosted members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) serving in his hometown, Daura, Katsina state. This was disclosed by the Service Corps on social media, stating that the president gifted them with two bulls, 20 bags of rice, cash among others. The Service Corps noted that it has been the tradition of President Buhari long before he became president to host Corps members during festivities whether in Daura or not. NYSC Katsina state coordinator, Alhaji Ahidjo Yahaya on behalf of the Director General, Brigadier General Shuaibu Ibrahim thanked the president, stating that such gesture would enable the Corps members to do more for the country. He prayed for God's protection and good health for President Buhari.
