Governor of Borno state, H. E. Umaru Zulum has supervised the profiling of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) for return to five local government areas in the state. The governor disclosed this on his facebook page, stating that IDPs will to return to their communities will be relocated soon, adding that these from communities where peace is attained will go back to their ancestral homes, while others will be resettled in secured places where they can have means of livelihood to stand on their own. While disclosing that government would support those willing to go back with relocation package which is meant to enable them start up something, He noted that nobody will be forced to relocate. Governor Zulum said that the living conditions in IDP camps is miserable with increasing crime and different forms of social vices. It is of note that the IDPs AG Gubio canmp are mostly from Kukawa, Marte, Bama, Gwoza and Ngala LGAs, and many has been in the camp for over seven years. Furthermore, Governor Zulum returned to Dalwa, a farming community along Damboa-Maiduguri highway, in order to motivate farmers. While at Dalwa, he personally took turn to harrow his own farm which he would be visiting from time to time. Recall that Zulum was in Dalwa on the 20th of June sequel to President Buhari's directive to re-open farms along Mulai-Dalwa axis.
