Govenor of Oyo state, H. E. Seyi Makinde has received the National Assembly Committee on Aviation led by Chairman, Senate Committee on Aviation, Senator Smart Adeyemi and the Chairman House Committee on Aviation, Hon. Pharm Nnolim Nnaji. He stated that he outlined that actions that his administration has taken to upgrade the Ibadan Airport including reconstructing the access roads to the airport, saying, Our plan is to reap the economic benefits of making Ibadan Airport a regional hub for air travel and the alternative airport to our neighbour. Like Schiphol Airport, we want to be the place where people will spend a few days to “see” Oyo State, “buy and fly.” See photos below:
