Governor of Kaduna state, H. E. Nasir El-rufai has sympathised with families of the two Nigerian army and navy personnel, Private Salisu Rabiu and Ordinary Seaman Bilal Mohammed, who were killed while defending students of Bethel Baptist High school, Kaduna, on Monday, 5th July, 2021. He described them as heroes, stating that their lives would not go in vain as the victory of evil men is only temporary, but their retribution permanent. While praying for the repose of their souls, Governor El-rufai said troops and all security personnel on the front liners deserves solidarity, motivation and gratitude, rather than condemnation. Adding that negative comments against security personnel is the most unfortunate display of ingratitude in view of their sacrifices and patriotisn. The governor offered financial assistance to the immediate families of the soldiers. Recall that Private Rabiu and Ordinary Seaman Mohammed had lost their lives while engaging bandits, who attached the school and kidnapped students in the early hours of Monday, 5th July 2021.
