Ghana police has arrested a 23 year old, Prince Aboadem, who attempted to rob a Kia Morning vehicle at around Kpeshie Lagoon in Accra, on 19th July, 2021. The police revealed that the suspect, with an accomplice, who is currently on the run, had hired the taxi at Kwame Nkrumah circle, and told the driver to take them to Nungua. In an attempt to steal the vehicle, the suspects held the neck of the taxi driver against his seat to strangle him, but unfortunately for them, the driver raised alarm which alerted the soldiers on duty at Military academy training school to the scene and to the rescue of the driver. The soldiers arrested Aboadem and handed him over to the police, while his accomplice ran. The police advised the general public, especially commercial drivers to continue to make personal security a priority.
