Ghana police service has revealed that the Inspector General of Police (IGP), James Oppong-Boanuh was pulled out from the service as a serving member after a parade was held in his honour. The event occurred at the National police training school in Accra, on 30th July 2021. The IGP proceeds on leave pending retirement on 7th October 2021. Meanwhile, Dr. George Akuffo Dampare would act as the IGP.
