Nigerian singer, Temmie Ovwasa has disagreed with people saying 'family is everything'. She took to twitter to share her thought.
She said that family is not everything, and quoted a proverb to prove her point, which is "Blood is thicker than water", which according to her means bloodshed on the battlefield create a stronger bond than the water of the womb does.
Temmie advised people to disregard family if they are the source of their pain, and noted that one's people will love all of them.
