Nigerian film director, Biodun Stephen has recounted her experience with men of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) at a hotel. She shared this on her in, revealing that two EFCC men with weapons forced their way into her hotel room, when she was asleep, at about 3pm. Feeling surprised, she questioned them on who they were, and they responded that they were EFCC and in search of somebody On questioning them on why they entered her room unannounced, they responded that they knocked but their was no response, which resulted into them breaking in. According to her, One of the EFCC men questioned her as regard to the man of the room, which she responded back confused, 'The who?' Upon realizing the mistake, The second EFCC man apologized, stating that she wasn't the one they are looking for. Stephen said she watched as they interviewed other guests rudely and arrested a few, adding that she heard this is the new thing with EFCC. They just burst into hotel rooms in the middle of the night, not caring who you are or in what state you are. Speaking on the hotel, She said that it was a decent one and doesn't understand how such situation can happen there. She was allegedly informed that that's the way EFCC barrages their way in.
