England football captain, Harry Kane has spoken against the ongoing racist abuse on fellow country teammate Marcos Rashford, Jadon Sancho, and Bukayo Saka, who missed in the penalty shootout against Italy in the European championship final. He took to his social media channel, stating that they deserve support rather than any form of abuse, and added that anyone partaking in this abuse in not a supporter of England and is not needed. In his words, Three lads who were brilliant all summer and who had the courage to step up and take a penalty when the stakes were high. They deserve our support and backing not the vile racist abuse they’ve had since last night. If you’re abusing anyone on social media you’re not an England fan and we don’t want you. England played Italy to a full-time draw (1 - 1), which resulted into a penalty shootout that they lost, thereby crowning Italy champions of the Europe.
