Following Germany knockout from EURO2020, Antonio Rudiger has stated that he feels frustrated, annoyed, angry and sad, after their loss to England which could have advanced them into the quarter finals. He admitted that the effort put in by the team was not good enough for them to have reached the next round, saying, I hate it going with such a negative experience into the holidays after a very long season. In the end this was simply not good enough from all of us to reach the next round. Rudiger, who plays as a center back, thanked coach Joachim Low for the trust and support that he had received from him since day 1.
