Coordinator of the Coalition of Civil Society Organisations, Dimeji Macaulay has demanded a public apology from the Nigerian police and Department of State Service (DSS) for their action against Revolution Now leader, Omoyele Sowore, journalists and IPOB activists. This was revealed by Sowore on his verified facebook page, disclosing that the coordinator had said this in a statement issued on Monday. Part of the statement reads: "We demand a public apology from the Nigeria police and DSS for this ridiculous and unprofessional action taking against Mr Omoyele Sowore, other journalists and IPOB activists and we ask that proper disciplinary measures be taken on those security officers involved."
