Ghana police service has disclosed that police in the Ashanti region had arrested four suspects in connection with a highway robbery on Nkawie-Kobeng which occurred at night on 11th June, 2021. The Service revealed that the suspects reportedly robbed occupants of a sprinter bus, of their mobile phones and unspecified sums of money before bolting into the bush. It stated that with the support of community members, the police patrol team combed the area, and retrieved a single barrel gun, adding that the suspects were in the police custody pending due processes.
