Following media reports that Islamic cleric Sheikh Ahmad Gumi has been arrested by the DSS. He has come out to say that none of this is true and it never happened. Gumi said that he has a good working relationship with all the security outfits, and didn't meet any bandit in the forest without the presence of security men, state officials, representatives of traditional rulers, and Fulani ardos bring there, adding that they continue to discuss and have interactions directly or through representatives with all the institutions. He assured that there is no conflict of any sort and will continue to cooperate to see that peace prevails in Nigeria.
