The government of Fiji has opened the doors to businesses, allowing workers and business workers to resume work and provide for their families under the Ministry of Commerce, Trade, Tourism and Transport (MCTTT) COVID-19 safety guidelines. It stated that one of those, whose business was opened is the Managing Director of Shoes Fiji Limited, Mr. Anish Amin. According to the government, "Amin said seeing his staff taking the initiative to get vaccinated was heartening because they are a small team who looks out for each other all the time." He stated that as a responsible employer, they have implemented COVID safe protocols for the safety of the people. Amin added that they have commenced on an export order bound for Vanuatu and is hopeful that upcoming orders of the same nature continue to come in.
