Senegalese footballer, Edouard Mendy has paid visit to former club, Cherbourg. He stated that he is touched and honoured to be welcomed by the club, and can never forget the club, where he played for 3 years, between 2011 - 2014. Mendy described Cherbourg as a good and caring club which helped him to grow athletically and humanely, saying, A good and caring club that has made me grow both athletically and humanely.A club where I met players, educators who are now friends.A family club. Cherbourg, a big thank you. Mendy, currently plays as a goalkeeper for Premier league club Chelsea. He played in the Le Havre academy before signing professional terms with Cherbourg in 2011.
