Activist Reno Omokri has stated it is very sad that President Buhari didn't attend the burial of late Chief of Army Staff, General Ibrahim Attahiru, but was represented by defence minister. He said that Attahiru died serving Nigeria, and the president couldn't just drive 15 miles go attend the funeral for 30 minutes, but he could travel 4000 miles to Paris in 4 days. Reno described late Ibrahim Attahiru and Idris deby as the most effective generals against Boko Haram, who were committed to actually defeating Boko Haram and led from the front. He said it is very said that they died within a month of each, praying that God grant the Attahiru family fortitude at this trying time.
