President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed sadness over the the death of Chief of Army Staff, Lt Gen. Ibrahim Attahiru and other military officers, who passed away in an air crash. This was disclosed by Femi Adesina, Special adviser to the President, stating the the president condoles with families of the deceased, the military, and the Nigerian public. President Buhari described them as heroes who paid the ultimate price for peace and security in the land. According to him, the crash is one mortal blow to our underbelly, at a time our armed forces are poised to end the security challenges facing the country. He prayed that God receives their souls, pledging that the departed wouldn't die in vain.
