Argentine and Barcelona captain, Lionel Messi will not be taking part in the training session today and the game against Eibar. This was disclosed by FC Barcelona via it's official website, saying that Messi leave was with the coach's permission, and can enjoy a rest before next month's Copa America after a season in which he appeared to be the most played in the squad. The club revealed that during this season be lifted the Copa Del Rey and bad 47 appearances, coming from 35 in the league, six know the Champions League, five in the Copa Del Rey and one in the Super cup. He also scored a total of 38 goals this season, with 30 being in the league thereby giving him the assuring of being top scorer in La Liga. Also, the club recalled that Messi has had some achievements this season apart from the aforementioned. It stated that the Argentine had broken the all time appearance record of Barcelona with 778 games, surpassing Xavi's previous figure, and also broken Pele's landmark figure for goals with the same club, with him having scored 672 goals for Barcelona.
