LASG commissions school infrastructure projects in Ojo LGA

Lagos state government has commissioned school infrastructure projects in Ojo local government area as part of state Governor Sanwo-Olu administration's effort to improve the learning and teaching environment in public schools. 


Governor Sanwo-Olu, who was represented at the commissioning by his Special adviser on labour and industrial relations, Comrade Babatunde Williams, said that the role of education in the growth and development of the society has made it imperative for the state to ensure that it's children have access to quality education and an enabling environment for excellent learning. 


He noted that in order to accelerate students' access to a world-class educational learning system, the state government has embarked on the provision of blocks of classrooms, administrative offices, school furniture, laboratories and modern toilet facilities among others across the six educational districts as well as Local Government Areas.


Speaking, Commissioner for Education, Mrs. Folasade Adefisayo, who was also represented by Mr. Oludare Victor Bababusola, a Director in Education District V, stated that the commission of the infrastructure is evidence of another promise fulfilled by the administration of Governor Sanwo-Olu. 


She stated the the completed school infrastructure projects is one of the 1,097 projects completed by the present administration.


Also, the Principal of Community Senior Secondary School, Ojo, Mrs. Juliana Usoro; Principals of Senior and Junior Model Colleges, Ojo, Mrs. Odujoke Ajayi and Mrs. Oyebisi Adekanye respectively, as well as the Head Teacher of Local Authority Nursery/Primary School, Iba Town, Mrs. Elizabeth Adenusi commended the Governor for the infrastructural projects, stressing that it will help spread learning transformation in the State.
