Former of governor of Gombe state, Ibrahim Dankwambo has commisserated with the people of Funakaye and all the people of Gombe state on the death of the Emir of Funakaye, Late Alhaji Muhammadu Kwairanga. He described as a father and visionary elder, praying that Allah accept his sins and forgive him all his sins and put him in paradise. In his words, On behalf of me, my family, and my supporters, I use this platform to extend our condolences to families, royalties, the people of Funakaye and all the people of Gombe State on the death of our father and father of the country Alhaji Muhammadu Kwairanga the Emir of Funakayes.
