Governor Udom Emmanuel: I am not defecting to any other political party


Governor of Akwa Ibom, H. E. Udom Emmanuel has stated that he will not defecting to any other political party, stressing that rumours about his defection are from people using the social media.


He stated this during the commissioning of roads at Oron, saying, 

Akwa Ibom is not like any other state, we are people of integrity and cannot be swayed or distracted from our responsibilities by false speculations.


Governor Udom stressed that those speculating his defection are impressed by what is administration is doing and would want to go to another party to do the same. 


While warning those spreading the false rumours, he assured that his government is focused on delivering his promises to the people across the three senatorial district of the state. 


The governor promised to partner with a private ship manufacturer, Engr. Charles Udonwa for the immediate development of ferry services between Oron and Calabar, noting that he was ready to give the ship production expert all the needed support that would ensure the establishment of a ferry yard for ease of marine transport business between Oron and Calabar. 


As regards the ongoing projects across the state, Governor Emmanuel assured that he will not be leaving office until all the road projects that have been embarked on have been completed.
