Ghana police arrests five police officers for alleged extortion

Ghana police service has arrested five police officers following report of alleged extortion while on patrol duties, on 24th May, 2021.

The officers, who were rearrested by the Accra regional police command, includes: 

•  52719 G/L/CPL. Redeemer Agama
• 53857 G/Const. Wishwell Odoo
• 53860 G/Const. Evans Arawassi
• 54250 G/Const. Lawal Agyapong
• 55300 G/Const. Sena Kuvordu

The command stressed that it would not be shielding any police officer who hides in the uniform to perpetuate crime against members of the public.
