Femi Fani-Kayode has responded to Governor Nasir El-rufai statement that a Fulani person will always seek revenge for injustice. He quoted Governor El-rufai saying, "A Fulani person will always seek revenge for injustice.If a Fulani man dies in war, it is different. If a Fulani man is arrested by the authorities and convicted, it is not an issue. What the Fulani never forgets is when he is innocently targeted and killed and the authorities do nothing. He will never forget and he will come back for revenge." In his response, FFK stated that revenge is no means to settling injustice, because if it was so there would be no survival. He said, "If we insist on taking revenge when members of our ethnic group are killed then no-one in Nigeria would be safe. If every tribe were to take revenge for every soul that was killed over the last 61 years no Nigerian would survive it. Those who refuse to forgive will not be forgiven."
