Ekiti state ministry of arts, culture and tourism has announced that the Ekiti state cultural troupe excelled at the annual Ikosi-Isheri Magodo cultural festival held on Friday, May 14, 2021, in Ikosi-Isheri local council development area, Lagos state. The ministry stated that the state's cultural troupe were overwhelmingly applauded on account of their display of cultural performances showing the state rich culture and heritage. It said that their performance had earned the state an automatic slot at this year's Badagry Heritage Festival (fully-funded by Lagos State Government) and ECOWAS Cultural Festival 2021 (fully-funded by ECOWAS). The ministry reiterated that state Governor Fayemi's administration remains committed to the development of culture and tourism in the state. See photos below:
