Austrian professional footballer, David Alaba has expressed the honour of having to join Spanish club, Real Madrid. He wrote on his social media channel, that he leaves a special club for another special club, and happy and honored to join Real Madrid. Alaba said, After so many years in Munich I will face a new challenge and I will give my best to continue the club's special history. Expressing how happy he is, Alaba stated that he can't wait to play his first game in the iconic white jerseys in front of all the fans in Madrid I'm sure that this journey will be a successful one. Together with all madridistas, he added. The defender signed a five years contract with Real Madrid.
