Student allegedly killed by lodge caretaker

A student of Federal Polytechnic Oko, Anambra state has been reported allegedly killed by the caretaker of the lodge he lives in.

Director of Welfare, Student Union Government, Comr. Chukwuma Chris issued a statement on the issue. 

Abuchi 

It was reported that an eyewitness, Mmachukwu who lived in the same lodge with the deceased narrated that Abuchi was stabbed by the caretaker who collected money contributed by the tenants of Currency lodge oko to pump water. 

However, the water didn't last as it was supposed to, which led to Abuchi and the other concerned lodge mates to go make complain to the lodge caretaker. 

The complain led to a fight between Abuchi and the caretaker, which resulted into Abuchi being stabbed. He was rushed to ChukwuNonso hospital Oko where Abuchi was confirmed dead due to much delay, while the caretaker fled doe his life. 

The Welfare officer urged students to stay calm while the divisional police station oko continue in their investigations and search for the caretaker.
