Politician Femi Fani-Kayode has condemned the killing of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) commander, Ikonso. He stated that it is the biggest mistake that Nigeria has made since the killing of Mohammed Yusuf, the erstwhile leader of Boko Haram. According to FFK, "This single act has radicalized IPOB and will have consequences. It is sad and unfortunate."
