Politician Shehu Sani has called on the authorities to secure the release of the students abducted at the Federal College of Forestry Mechanization, in Afaka, Igabi local government area of Kaduna state.
He urged the general public to pray and hope that they are released, stating that others school on the fringes should take precautions. Earlier, Abductors of 39 students released a video demanding for N500 million ransom for the release of the students. The gunmen who stormed the school on Friday, March 12 had abducted the students. Although 180 of the students were rescued by troops, 39 of them comprising 23 females and 16 males are still in captivity.
