Rivers state government has informed the general public that Eastern By-Pass will be closed to vehicular traffic from the 24th of March, 2021 to the 23rd of April, 2021.
It stated that there will be no access from the Eastern By-Pass roundabout or the Marine Base roundabout into Eastern By-Pass.
This closure is necessitated by the need to promptly execute excavation and earthworks in the ongoing road dualization project before the onset of inclement weather conditions.
The government apologized for all inconveniences, stating that all is in the interest of the general good.
