Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola has presented the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) 2020 annual report to the public in a ceremony at the Service headquarters, Abuja.
The minister who was represented by the Permanent secretary, Dr. Shuaibu Belgore commended NIS management for its consistency in producing annual records of its activities over the years describing it as a huge demonstration of transparency.
Comptroller General Muhammad Babadede MFR expressed delight over the unveiling of the document assuring readers would find it interesting. He thanked government for the great support received during the year, and the management for their commitment to set goals.
The document covered records of activities in Border Security, Migration Management, Infrastructural upgrades, Passport administration among others in the year 2020.
