Rauf Aregbesola commissions Nigeria Immigration Service Passport Express Centre



Minister of Interior Rauf Aregbesola has commissioned the Nigeria Immigration Service Passport Express Centre, which is established and designed to offer specialized services to Nigierias, in Maitama Abuja. 


He said that every Nigerian has the right to a Nigerian passport and it is the NIS responsibility to put in the hands of anyone delirious of it within the shortest possible time, without stress. 


The centre will make passport available in maximum of 72 hours of a successful application. However, where there are issues, the applicant will be notified within 48 hours. 


He noted that the process will afford Nigerians the opportunity of getting their passports within 24hrs at the high premium service and 72hrs at the ordinary premium service, although with added value and a bit of extra cost.
