Governor of Lagos state, H. E. Babajide Sanwo-Olu has received the Oxford-AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine at the Infectious Disease Hospital (IDH), Yaba. In regards to the vaccination of the residents in the state, he stated that their has been set up of a team of healthcare, distribution and security professionals, and vaccination will begin at 88 designated locations for Phase 1 which consists of medical workers, police, military, laboratory, port health, judiciary and rapid response team. Also, Governor Sanwo-Olu urged everyone to take the vaccine.
