The Nigerian Postal Service (NIPOST) has dismissed claims on social media that it's management sold vehicles to themselves at a ridiculous price of twenty thousand naira (N20,000) each.
It said that the auction was carried out by them, licensed auctioneers in full compliance with extent laws, and the vehicles were auctioned were in the most dilapidated and deplorable condition.
NIPOST stressed that majority of the vehicle were without engines, rims, tyres, and had broken windscreens, faulty systems and fragmented body parts.
The service called on the general public to disregard the malicious and misleading publication.
