Governor Wike appreciates members and leaders that attended flag-off of local government election campaign

Governor of Rivers state, H. E. Nyesom Wike has appreciated leaders and members of the People Democratic Party (PDP) that attended the flag off of their Local Government election campaigns.

He said that their assurance of victory in the April 19th Local Government Elections is drawn from the visible performance of the PDP across the state. 

According to him, "The Local Government as the third tier of Government is the tier directly in contact and closest to the people. My charge to the candidates of our party if they are elected is for them to get close to their people at the grassroot and work assiduously to add to the goodwill of the PDP in Rivers State by embarking on meaningful, people oriented projects in the Local Governments."
